About Us
Are you a business or education leader responsible for delivering team presentations, lectures or key note speeches?
Or anyone who wishes they could be abducted by aliens rather than speak in public?
Research shows that public speaking is the number one greatest fear. Many people lose opportunities because they are afraid to stand up and talk in front of an audience. People would rather be in the coffin than giving the eulogy!
Do you have a fear of presenting? Do you have as many knots in your stomach as a macramé basket? Do you ever stand up and talk in front of your team, students or clients and freeze? You don’t know where to start, how to structure your presentation or how to deliver it? Do you feel like no-one’s listening and you’re not sure how to really engage them?
Do you want to feel more confident standing up in front of a crowd or the media? Do you want to move people to take action? Do you want to be more authentic, to be more engaging and to be more inspiring?
2be is a presentation skills training company which was established 12 years ago by Lisa, Kate and Linda (click throughs to about us). We have worked with medium to large organisations , including Vodafone, Coca Cola, DDB and Genesis Energy, and have coached senior management, lecturing staff and post graduate students at universities both within NZ and overseas.
We bring a unique difference to our presentation skills training, having all worked in the theatre and film industries. We draw from the techniques that performing artists use to help you communicate with clarity, overcome distracting vocal and physical habits, conquer your fears, and really grab your audiences’ attention with humour and storytelling.
If this sounds like you, we would love to set up a meeting to discuss your needs.

Hi, I’m Kirstie. Do you want to speak with a voice that truly reflects your warmth, enthusiasm and what you stand for? My younger self came across as confident but I felt I still wasn’t speaking with my own voice. I’m happy to say this is no longer the case. Having worked in many professional performance areas and as a vocal coach, I can help you unlock your true voice.

I trained in social work and mental health, and have forty years national and international experience as a performer, director and teacher. In 2014, I was honoured with a Teaching Excellence Award for Tertiary Education. I have collaborated with Maori to develop leadership training programmes based on marae protocols and customs. These skills enable me to help you develop a strong physical and vocal presence.
